“ My favorite project this summer was creating and designing the Internships page on the careers website. I wanted to improve the application process for future students interested in the PGA to be more informed about the different teams and professional growth opportunities. Through this project, I've worked with creative people in different departments to carry out my vision. ”

It felt meaningful to distill important but complicated information into something streamlined and user-friendly for everyone at the office. I also felt passionate about the project even further since it centers around the safety of PGA of America and the people that make up this amazing organization! ”

“ My favorite project was going to Pinehurst to help run the National High School Golf Invitational for both the girls and boys events. The Player Engagement and Amateur Championships teams were very welcoming and amazing to work with. I worked closely with the players, whether it was registration day, player check-in or working the scoring table, and I could tell they were excited to be there to compete and experience great golf. ”

Our Roles at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship

Championships Intern
“ I helped my team with player services for the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. I grew up playing golf and have looked up to those women golfers my whole life, so getting to have casual conversations with them while checking them in and managing their credentials was truly surreal. Hosting the event in our own backyard at Fields Ranch made it even more special, it was incredible to see how my team operated on home turf, and I learned so much from them. ”

“ During KPMG I had the opportunity to run the distribution efforts on the Instagram. Clipping live feeds, captioning and publishing any and all content that was distributed from the Championship Instagram. I curated the feed and helped organize and design content. I worked closely with photographers, videographers and editors to QA content. ”

“ I volunteered for the broadcasting team to capture sound for featured groups with Nelly Korda and Lexi Thompson. Besides this I was working with the PGA Digital team in helping film and capture shots for the TikTok account. It was a great experience working in a different department for a week and able to understand what they do and how they accomplish all of their work. ”
